On Friday, My CCA Red Cross had its orientation. The orientation is for welcoming the new secondary one students into the CCA. We started off with a few warm-up exercise before our seniors brief us on what we are going to do for the day.
The first activity we are going to do is called the 'Red Race'. The are 5 stations we had to go to in the race. The first station we went to is at the parade square, where we have to solve a puzzle. The second station is to figure out everyone's name. The third station requires us to evacuate a person. The fourth is for us to navigate through a maze while the last one requires us to build a stretcher. My team navigated through the race with much ease and we managed to finish second. After the race, we had a game of water bomb, where we throw water bombs at the opposing team. We filled up plastic bags with water and after that, threw the water bombs at each other. I threw the water bombs with great accuracy and made my friends thoroughly wet while i myself also got soaked by them as well.
After the water bomb event, there was the prize giving event where the winner of the race was given prizes each. Then, there was a de-briefing by the seniors and the teachers-in-charge. Overall, the orientation was fun for me and i look forward to making friends with the secondary 1 students.
